How To Apply

Thank you for your interest in employment at Stelco! All of our open positions are posted on our website here. We only accept applications and resumes online via email. We do not accept applications via mail, fax, walk-ins or any other method. If you do not see a position of interest, you are encouraged to check back.

Our employment process follows the steps outlined below:

  • Application – When you apply for a position, your resume is received by a recruiter who is working on the position. Applications are reviewed by our Human Resources team, and only those advancing to the next stage of the hiring process will be contacted.

  • Assessments – Some positions may require a Skills Assessment, which candidates must complete. If you are selected for an assessment, you will receive information on how to complete your assessment.

  • Phone Interview – Candidates may be contacted for a telephone interview with a recruiting specialist, who will further determine qualifications and interest.

  • In-person Interview – Applicants who successfully complete previous steps may be contacted for an in-person interview. If selected, you will receive an email asking you to select a time and date that is best for you.

  • Offer Process – All offers are contingent on successfully completing a background investigation and medical exam (if required).
